Conference video and photography that still works after the doors close.

AMS Institute recommended me to reach out to Jan as my team was working on a 350-person event (the first edition of Amsterdam Deep Tech Showcase) and we needed a videographer to make an aftermovie for it. We decided to make this aftermovie quite last minute, but Jan was thankfully flexible and up for the challenge. Given Jan's experience in the startup innovation event space, the briefing was fairly straightforward. He was able to delegate filming to his colleague, Nadeche, and take on the editing himself. The first draft came shortly after the event took place and after a few rounds of minor iterations, the final product was published online. I can definitely recommend Jan as he understands these types of events and knows what needs to end up on film to tell a good story. Jan quickly understood the aesthetic of our workshops and events, and translated the atmosphere and purpose of the programme into high-quality photo and video content. Jan recently covered the Network Automation Forum's event; AutoCon 1. We held two days of workshops, and three days of conference, plus an off-site social event. Jan was onsite recording photos and videos the whole time. He was friendly and professional and proactively offered up many great suggestions to make the coverage more impactful.
